The Dick Jones Memorial Scholarship, named for long-time health education professional and advocate the late Dick Jones, supports AR SOPHE's mission by making scholarship funds available to selected students of health education and related programs of study.

Student Mentoring Program
Arkansas SOPHE would like to invite its student members to
be a part of the AR SOPHE Student Mentoring Program. In this
program, student members will be matched with AR SOPHE
members that are practicing in the field of health education.
They will receive ongoing support, communication and resources
as they study to become health education professionals.
The goals of the Arkansas SOPHE Student Mentoring Program are
as follows:
- To increase participation by student members in Arkansas SOPHE events and initiatives.
- To provide student members in Arkansas SOPHE with an opportunity to observe and interact with health education professionals as role models and informal advisors.
- To provide student members that are planning to take the Certified Health Education Specialist (exam) with study resources and guidance.
- To provide on-going technical support and resources for student members as they begin their professional roles in health education.
